Hey everyone, its February and its officially the month that we celebrate our loved ones. Well that being said, every day should be a day to celebrate, especially the ones we love and the things we love to do. Especially self-development.

So whats happening this month? Well if you're in London then make sure you make it to the annual Blue Cow Summit on the 19th and 20th. Last years event was superb and this year they plan to make it even better.

The line up includes some big names like Dr John DeMartini - world renowned specialist in human behavior, researcher, author and global educator, Dr Fab Mancini who is FOX News’s Healthy Living Expert, Hay House’s best selling author of The Power of Self-Healing and host of his popular radio show, Self-Healing with Dr. Fab. In 2015 he created and released a "must watch" film called The Cure Is.

The event will also include the founder of Coffee Republic and a host of other speakers including the organisers Jo and Steve. All in all expect a weekend of learning, Great content and an electric Blue cow atmosphere. If you get a chance read Jo and Steve's story on how they named their event Blue Cow, that in itself is inspirational. To get 30% off tickets use promo code BLUECOW here:

If you have always wanted to write a book then you must get across to the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort in Orlando at the Speak, Serve, Sell event on the 20th and 21st. Why should you be there? Well why not hear from a lady that has co-authored and sold more than 30 million books worldwide. That lady is the one and only Sharon Lechter, co-author of the famous book Rich Dad Poor Dad and so many other books in the Rich Dad series. Now working and writing with the Napolean Hill Foundation there is no one better who knows how to write, sell and build a brand around a book. Not only that she will be joined by the CEO of the Napolean Hill Foundation, Don Green. And that's not all, joining them are a whole host of amazing speakers including Michael Lechter; best selling author attorney, infact 13 speakers in total so real value for money.

The one thing I must say is Sharon and Michael add soo much value when they speak and that alone is testament to their respective careers and businesses they have carved out in a industry worth billions! An event not to be missed. For tickets click the link below:

And finally to round up a busy month there's the big self development expo at the Excel on the last weekend of the month. Its called The Best You expo and its on the 27th and 28th. It will be a variety of workshops, seminars and so much more. The tickets vary so click the link below to find out more and to get yourself there.

Before I talk about the awesome event last weekend I want to highlight the event I will be hosting on Thursday evening. If you don't know its called "An Evening with the Man That Coaches the 1%" and its a chance to hear me interview a man that not many people know publicly. He gets the call from his very high profile client base in all kinds of situations. He will be sharing some strategies he shares with his 1% clients.  The cost of the event is only £20 which is heavily subsidised by the man as a charitable contribution to giving back. You can book your tickets here: goo.gl/B7NK0f

Last weekend we saw the rise of another new event in the self-development calendar here in the UK. The venue was the Millennium Gloucester hotel in Kensington and the event was the "Event of Champions" and boy have they set the bar high. With a line up of speakers who not only gave awesome content but did so without any hard sell tactics. Yes there were other programs you could buy but only if you wanted to and that is the key difference I need to mention here. It truly was a soft sale and one which we need to see more of in the industry.

The line up included Sharon and Michael Lechter, Paul and Tracy Smolinski, Isaura Gonzalez, Angela Totman, Darshana Ubl, Kevin Byrne and the organiser's Camilita and Andrew Nuttall. It was evident that they are were really genuine, humble and open hearted people that were there to serve, teach and inspire those that attended.

You may be familiar with Sharon Lechter as she co wrote 14 rich dad books including Rich Dad Poor Dad and spearheaded the Rich dad brand to the success it has seen all over the globe. After a short spell advising the US government on issues of financial literacy she is now working alongside the Napoleon Hill foundation and writing more award winning books including the latest "Think & Grow Rich for Women". A spin on the original masterpiece, "Think & Grow Rich" which you could say kicked off what is now such a big global industry.

If you ever get the opportunity to  hear her and Michael speak then you must take that opportunity as they genuinely are a power couple in an industry that has grown from a single seed to what it is now.

That's all from me for now. If you can make the evening event I will be hosting on the 28th then please do get your tickets quickly.

There's a lot more to come from me in the coming months with some big interviews lined up here and in  the states. So watch this space!

A new blog for a new year..

As the dust settles from the New Year celebrations many people are focused on 2016 and what this year will bring.

I decided its time I write this blog, as an ambassador to the self-development industry, I'm constantly invited to attend and be part of various events in the self-development calendar. Whether it’s being part of the organising team through the Pattni Consultancy or being invited as a special guest it’s always a pleasure to work with so many companies and speakers/coaches that are focused on creating change here in the UK and across the world.

This blog gives me an opportunity to feedback and give my opinion on which events are not worth missing and which events, I feel, you should avoid point blank.

With this in mind 2016 promises to be an eventful year. With the rise in the number of new self-development events in the annual calendar and those events which have been pulling in the crowds for many years there is a lot to choose from.

You will also see the event page of this site has a small selection of carefully chosen events. There are events which The Pattni Consultancy put on as well as those where The Pattni Consultancy are one of the chosen partners.

I shall also be interviewing many speakers across the industry in the coming months. Those that are stand out famous and those that are less well known. I will be asking the crucial questions everyone wants to ask and also getting valuable insight into how one can navigate the challenges of a changing world.

So let this be your year.

Ash
